Passo del Prado On one of our visits to Europe we had to reschedule flights at the last minute and as a result had to lay over in Madrid for a day. While we lost a day in Rome I was able to visit the Prado Museum as well as the Sophia. What a delight! Velasquez, Picasso and El Greco to only name a few. My first visit to Spain left a lasting impression and I captured this moment outside the Prado. Oil on Panel 11 x 14 $600 |

Sunlit Steps Cafe' Blue Lunch at Cafe' Blue on Lake Travis with my wife and a friend provided a bonus as we came across stone steps illuminated by sunlight streaming through the trees. One of the things I love about what I do is that you can find beauty in the most unexpected places and when you least expect it. Its one of the reasons I try to carry a camera with me at all times! Mykonos Beachfront Greece shares the intense Mediterranean light with its neighbors but I think there is more of an overpowering edge to it than in Italy. In this Mykonos scene I took some liberties, eliminating some newer structures to focus on the Greek Orthodox church at waters edge. Oil on Board 32 x 24 $3,100 |
